Lorenzo and Bevey Louden

When Lorenzo and Bevey Louden founded the Tower of Refuge, Inc. (TOR) in 2005, their primary goal was clear and succinct: contribute to the successful reentry of former inmates into their communities while promoting reconciliation with their families. An individual who has a vested interest in his or her community and family is less inclined to be drawn back into the recidivism rut that often besets people leaving correction centers. It is through the Tower of Refuge’s all-encompassing programmatic structure that TOR is able to meet the over-arching goal set by its founders.
